Peer Review Process

Some of the policies of the  INSPIRA: Journal of Elementary School Teacher Education are:

  1. Every manuscript submitted will be checked using the anti-plagiarism website, Turnitin .
  2. Every manuscript submitted will go through a review process.
  3. The review process uses a double-blind review.
  4. In the review process, peer reviewers provide considerations related to novelty, scientific impact, conclusions and references used.

The reviewer's decision will be taken into consideration by the editor for:

  1. Accept Submission (accept the manuscript)
  2. Revisions Required (manuscript needs to be revised)
  3. Resubmit for review (send the manuscript back)
  4. Resubmit elsewhere (send manuscript to another journal)
  5. Decline Submission (reject the manuscript)

Manuscripts are rejected for publication for several reasons, namely:

  1. The article does not fit the scope of the journal.
  2. The article does not follow the rules for writing scientific papers or journal writing guidelines.
  3. Fatal error in methodology.
  4. The author rejects the reviewer's suggestions for improvement without any acceptable reason.
  5. The manuscript is suspected of plagiarism with a similarity of more than 20%.
