GUIDELINES FOR WRITING ARTICLES
A. GENERAL GUIDELINES
- Manuscripts sent to the editors are in the form of written research results.
- The article has never been published in other media. If the article or part of the article has been published or presented, the author must include this information.
- Manuscripts are written in standard Indonesian or English, using Garamond 12 font, A4 paper size, top margin 2.5 cm, bottom 2.5 cm, right 2.5 cm, and left 2.5 cm with a line density of 1 spacing.
- The length of the submitted manuscript is between 6000 to 7000 words (including abstract, images, graphs/tables and bibliography). While the abstract is written in Indonesian 150 - 300 words and accompanied by 3-5 keywords.
- Articles are sent via online submission at: http://journal.uinsgd.ac.id/index.php/anida
- Manuscripts submitted to the editorial team will go through a double-blind review process by peer reviewers and the decision to "accept" is determined by the Editor. Manuscripts that are published will be re-edited by the editorial team without changing the substance.
B. TECHNICAL GUIDELINES
Title
- The title is written concisely, effectively and informatively, with a maximum of 12 words, including conjunctions.
- Garamond font size 12, with 1 line spacing.
- The manuscript is accompanied by the author's identity which includes: Author's name without academic title (Garamond 12 bold ) , author's institutional affiliation, institutional address, and e-mail (Garamond 10, single spacing).
- The author's institutional affiliation follows the place where the person is active.
- The names of the authors and the order of authors (if there is more than one author) are based on the extent of their contribution and participation in carrying out the research and writing the report, and all authors are responsible for the contents of the manuscript.
Author Identity
- The manuscript is accompanied by the author's identity which includes: Author's name without academic title (Garamond 12 bold ) , author's institutional affiliation, institutional address, and e-mail (Garamond 10, single spacing).
- The author's institutional affiliation follows the place where the person is active.
- The names of the authors and the order of authors (if there is more than one author) are based on the extent of their contribution and participation in carrying out the research and writing the report, and all authors are responsible for the contents of the manuscript.
Abstract
- The abstract is written concisely and factually, including research objectives, research methods, results and conclusions.
- The abstract is written in English and Indonesian, the length of the abstract ranges from 150 - 200 words in one paragraph, Garamond font 10.
Keywords
- Keywords consist of 3 - 5 words and/or groups of words.
- Words are typed in italics , with keywords separated by semicolons (;)
C. WRITING SYSTEMATICS
The article consists of:
INTRODUCTION
- The introduction is written using Garamond 12 font, single spacing and bold. The contents of the introduction are written using Garamond 12 pt font, straight margins. with 6 pt bottom spacing.
- The introduction should contain the background of the research, related research that has existed, the expectations to be achieved from the writing, the scientific benefits and novelty of the writing and the purpose of writing and research methods. Generally the introduction is not too extensive, around 2 pages single spaced;
RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
- The results and discussion are written using Garamond 12 font, single spacing and bold. The contents of the results and discussion are written using Garamond 12 pt font, straight margins. with 6 pt bottom spacing.
- The presentation of the results and discussion is written clearly and concisely containing the findings of the research, the differences between the results or findings of the research and previous writings from other researchers; The discussion contains a description and analysis of the research results.
- The results and discussion can be combined appropriately or can use small subheadings according to the needs of the discussion.
- Simplify the table and use an open table, and the map image is more focused on the object being studied and the file size should not be too large and complicated (preferably in JPG format); tables and images are numbered sequentially. Example of writing a table: Table 3.
- The technique of citing reference sources uses bodynotes , with APA Style format. For more information, see the example in the technical provisions of the citation mechanism.
CLOSURE
- The cover is written using Garamond 12 font, single spacing and bold. The contents of the cover are written using Garamond 12 pt font, straight margins. with 6 pt bottom spacing.
- The conclusion contains conclusions that answer the purpose of writing the manuscript, scientific development according to the research area. its usefulness for publication in journals and the possibility of implementing or developing research. Also write suggestions for further research.
BIBLIOGRAPHY
- The bibliography is written using Garamond 12 font, single spacing and bold.
- The literature listed in the bibliography only contains sources referred to or quoted in the manuscript.
- Reference sources referred to in the manuscript should refer to one or more scientific journal manuscripts.
- Manuscripts should refer to or quote one or more of Anida's articles.
- Techniques for writing a bibliography, using the APA Style citation system. More details can be seen in the technical provisions for writing a bibliography.
D. Citation Mechanism
The literature sources in the description use the APA Style format , with the following provisions:
- One author, write the author's last name, year of publication: citation page. Example: (Kusnawan, 2000:21) or ...in Kusnawan (2000:21).
- The author is more than one person, write the last name of the first author followed by et.al, year of publication: page. Example: (Muhyiddin, et.al, 2010:100) or ... according to Muhyiddin, et.al, (2010:100).
E. Writing a Bibliography
The format for writing a bibliography or bibliography used in the INSPIRA: Elementary School Teacher Education Journal is based on the APA Style Guide as in the following example:
