Author Guidelines

Articles or papers to be submitted must meet the following limitations:
  1. Manuscripts in Indonesian or English.
  2. The manuscript has never been published in other media.
  3. Manuscripts published in this journal include articles on: policies, research, thoughts, concept/theory reviews, new book reviews and other information related to problems in the field of information technology.
  4. Manuscripts must be submitted online through the journal website. Authors must be logged in to submit manuscripts. For submission guidelines, see the online submission menu. Online registration is free of charge.
  5. The length of the manuscript is between 6 to 10 A4 pages (210 x 297 mm) with the manuscript format according to the template provided, including images, tables, and does not contain appendices. The manuscript is written using Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) with a top margin of 3 cm, left 3 cm, right 2 cm and bottom 1.5 cm.
  6. The title is written in Indonesian, Keywords and Abstract must be written in Indonesian and English.
  7. The number of words in the title is a maximum of 14 words with the following provisions: Times New Roman (TNS) font type and font size 15, single spacing, center alignment, bold and spacing after 12 pt. If the title is too long, the editor has the right to edit the title without changing the meaning of the title, without the consent of the manuscript writer, when the manuscript is going to print.
  8. It is recommended to write the article title using Indonesian in accordance with the Enhanced Spelling (EYD). If there are words in English, they are written in italics.
  9. The author's name uses Times New Roman 10. If there is more than one author, separate them with a comma and write the number  if  the author is from the first affiliation, the number  if the author is from the second affiliation, etc.
  10. Include the institution of origin, address, postal code and author's email and write using TNR 9.
  11. The article begins with an Abstract. The Abstract and Summary should not contain images or tables, are aligned right-left, Times New Roman 9 font, single-spaced. The Abstract is written in English and Indonesian. The Abstract should not be more than 250 words. The Abstract should describe the essence of the entire article.
  12. Keywords contain four to eight words, separated by commas, aligned right-left, TNR 9 font, and single space. Keywords are carefully selected, so that they can reflect the concept contained in the article and help improve the accessibility of the article in question.
  13. The body of the manuscript must follow these rules:
  14. Written in a single column format, aligned right-left, TNR 10, spacing 1. Margin limits are set as follows: top = 3 cm; bottom = 1.75 cm; left = 3 cm; right = 2 cm.
  15. The systematics of writing an article must contain four main parts: (1) Introduction, (2) Theory/Research Methodology, (3) Analysis and Discussion, (4) Implementation, and (5) Conclusion. Acknowledgements may be displayed after the Conclusion. Acknowledgements may be displayed after the Conclusion. References are placed at the very back. The chapter titles that must be present are Introduction and Conclusion. The maximum headings are made in 3 levels:
  16. Heading 1: Level 1 headings should be in small caps, located on the left margin, and numbered with uppercase Roman numerals. Level 1 headings that should not be numbered are "Acknowledgements" and "References". For example, "I. INTRODUCTION".
  17. Heading 2: A level 2 heading, aligned to the left and numbered using uppercase letters. For example, "C. Section Headings".
  18. Heading 3: Level 3 headings should be spaced, italicized, and numbered with Arabic numerals followed by a right parenthesis. Level 3 headings should end with a colon. The content of the level 3 section continues following the heading title in the same paragraph. For example, this section begins with a level 3 heading.
  19. Figures and tables should be centered. Large figures and tables can be stretched across both columns. Any table or figure that spans more than 1 column should be positioned at the top/bottom of the page. Figures are allowed in color. Figures are numbered using numerals. Figure captions are in TNR 10 font. Single-line figure captions are centered, while multi-line captions are aligned. Figure captions are placed after the related figure.
  20. Mathematical equations must be written clearly, numbered sequentially, and accompanied by the required information.
  21. Page numbers, headers and footers are not used. All hypertext links and bookmarks are removed. If the paper needs to refer to an email address or URL in the article, the full address or URL should be typed in a regular font.
  22. Citations and References are written following IEEE standards (see template on MIB website)
  23. Citations are numbered in the format [1], [2], [3], ... in the order they appear.
  24. Wikipedia, personal blogs, and non-scientific websites are not allowed.
  25. Primary references must be taken no more than 5 years and a minimum of 10 references.
